We can hardly believe it. We’re still pinching ourselves to see if we’re awake.

We want to share our sincerest thanks and appreciate everyone congratulating us or reaching out. We couldn’t do any of this without all of you.

Saturday, June 10th, 2023, a female trainer’s horse won for the first time in the 155-year history of the Belmont Stakes in New York. And that trainer was horseOlogy’s very own Jena Antonucci. We couldn’t be prouder, and we are on cloud nine while we try to soak this entire experience up and what it means to the industry, the owner, the horse, and the team!

As humble as she is, Jena always redirects the celebration to three-year-old Arcangelo, who ran a masterclass in horseracing under jockey Javier Castellano. In truth, the entire experience resulted from the incredible team of Jena, Javier, Arcangelo, and owner Jon Ebbert. The winning team is ready for their place in the history books.

Arcangelo is a graduate of our horseOlogy program. He spent a few of his earlier months with us in Ocala before heading to Saratoga last summer with Jena’s team. Arcangelo has always had a winning spirit, which he showed to the world on Saturday in the Belmont Stakes.

The win came on a day already historic. It was the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s victory at the Belmont Stakes. It couldn’t be more fitting that Arcangelo, Jena, and her team made history again.

For anyone interested in learning more about the philosophy of training that led to Arcangelo’s impressive win, we encourage you to contact us at horseOlogy. Learn what we’re all about, what we offer, and how to be a part of our unique and forward-thinking Thoroughbred experience.
