horseOlogy: (n.) all things Ology of the horse. Making the Thoroughbred industry transparent, fun, and relevant.

Micro Investing

Syndicated partnerships in horse racing have been around for quite a while. Micro Investing is an ownership model that sells shares in the racehorse to several people, dividing the initial investment, expenses, and proceeds of that horse across the partnership. Syndicates are most commonly composed of owners with 10%+ shares.

Micro Investing – Pinhooking

Micro investing is a business model whereby a diverse group of people can participate in the excitement of owning a racehorse, which may otherwise not have been feasible. For example, micro-shares are often sold in increments of .01%, allowing thousands of people to experience the excitement of investing in a Pinhooking.

Hello Future Partner!

We love to share our passion, farm, and knowledge with everyone who wants to experience a little slice of horse heaven.

Come Ology with us!

While micro investing started in the racehorse world, there is a need for it in other aspects of the industry. Micro investing is a business model whereby a diverse group of people can participate in the excitement of owning a horse, which may not have been otherwise feasible.

Pinhooking

Pinhooking is the practice of buying a horse at one stage of their life and selling them at a later stage. horseOlogy purchases weanlings to be sold as yearlings and yearlings to be sold as two-year-olds as well as other savvy aquisition opportunities.

Sport of Everyone

We feel strongly that thoroughbred horse racing (at every stage) shouldn’t just be ‘the sport of kings’ but the sport of everyone.

2022-2023 Season

For the 2022-2023 season, we are excited to offer micro-partnerships within our Pinhooking service line. Pinhooking has historically been for the bolder investor. We are making it available to the more risk-averse as we are offering the opportunity to purchase micro shares in any of our Pinhook prospects.

The high costs of buying and training racehorses prohibit most from participating in this sport. We are excited to offer Mirco Investing opportunities.

Micro investing is for anyone who has a passion for Thoroughbreds but believes they may never have the means to participate at an owners’ level. We want to make sure that you can participate in this experience at an affordable cost.

If you are interested in Micro Investing, contact us, and let us tell you more about our unique program!
